Connecting the dots between theatre and speech-language pathology.

This is my friend Will.

He’s going to help me teach Shakespeare to individuals with speech impediments.

I believe that incorporating theatre tactics, yoga, Shakespearean language, and movement will empower individuals to connect the dots between integrity and self-expression.

Exciting updates soon!

My love of theatre began when I was forced to put down my book and participate with my second-grade class production of When the Hippos Crashed the Dance, which was inspired by a TYA touring company's influence on our classroom.

A few months later, I found this AMAZING book, that I was immediately smitten with by some random guy named William Shakespeare- I mean, what 8-year old falls in love with The Tempest

My MISSION and PURPOSE as an educator is to empower and create alongside the next generation of dreamers to help them find individuality through storytelling and movement!

More about my teaching

I was first introduced to yoga during high school when it became the recommended way for me to relieve my anxiety and body dysmorphia. It has helped me stay grounded, healthy, and find love in my body.

I completed my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga & Ayurveda in early 2020. Later that summer, I completed a 300-hour training with My Vinyasa Practice, certifying me as a 500 Hour RYT.

As a teacher, I strive to create a sense of grounding on the mat and a safe space to open up and play during a vinyasa flow.

Currently, I am in the process of releasing a yoga flow podcast called "On The Mat With Mak" to be released once a week for free to individuals who are interested in growing their practice and creative minds.

I also teach private yoga with clients of all ages in Manhattan. If you are interested in flowing, please send me an email to get started.
