Storyteller - Aerialist - Creative
Who is Makenzi Anyways?
As an artist, I strive to tell stories that empower, create, and discover individuality through expression, movement, and storytelling.
Movement is important.
Movement is important because it gives a voice to those who cannot speak. Through movement, we can express ourselves physically and find individuality in the unique and beautiful ways in which we move our bodies. As an ASL performer, I love being able to use my hands and physicality to tell a story. Movement is individuality.
As a human, I spend most of my free time at the circus gym hanging upside down in my aerial hoop, bouldering in Central Park, teaching kids yoga (RYT with Yoga Alliance), and finding the best ice cream shop on the block.
